You will need to know the address of your PCs parallel Port. Find the Device Manager in Windows to find the Parallel Port Address. In this example the address is 0378. This will become 0x378 to be used in Mach3 "Engine Configuration -> Port Setup and Axis Selection" as seen below:



For Port #1 we will use the address found in the Windows Device Manager. Use the address number specified by your PCs Device manager. It may or may not be 0x378.
Make sure the Port Enabled check box is checked.
Next go to the "Engine Configuration -> Motor Outputs" Section in Mach3



You can then proceed to adjust the speeds and accelerations values to match the particular characteristics of your machine, along with any other switch inputs or spindle outputs you may use. It is recommended to get the motors moving before handling adding things like switches though..
