This board provides an extra 16 signals from the BBB header, six of which are routed to the analog portion of the BBB bus. All of these extra signals routed to the IDC26 header go through a FET bus switch, which passes each signal through a FET with an effective ON state of 5 ohms. The FETs are turned on when the standard BBB MachineKit IOPWR# signal is active. No other buffering or isolation is provided for the additional signals. The signal on Pin 1 of the IDC26 header is the same as the signal on Pin 1 of the DB25

Use of the signals on the IDC26 header may require additional BBB setup that is beyond the procedure used to set up the MachineKit software. This may mean setting up specific registers in the BBB using software and/or parameters not provided in the links above.

Pins 9-25 (odd) have a GND signal surrounding them when routed with a standard IDC Ribbon Cable. These three analog signals and six digital signals should be used when electrical noise may be an issue.
